We looked at hundreds of "great companies" and watched their websites talking big — We are a Company with great people, we continue to hire great people, amongst our objective is to be an employer of choice; to be among the 50 Best FT or 50 Fortune Best Employer — all these criteria. And when we met these people we really found them to be great, but year after year their Organization's performance is average, mediocre and just barely enough. The equation is great people but average performance. It should not be this way. We concluded that "great people put into situations where there could have been lot of compromises at every step".
